You are Unstoppable

Tonight I feel like going straight to bed, it’s 4am, and I must be up by 7am for a marathon session as I baptize myself into knowledge for creating a New Industry in Nigeria. 8yrs from now, I desire to be the most influential person on the continent of Africa. I want to have created the greatest number of empowered souls who go ahead to do the same for others. I want to have given houses, private jets, education and hope to cities and nations! I want to be a blessing to millions of people and a source of pride for Nigeria and the black race. Before I go to bed however, I want to let you know, that just like me you are Unstoppable!

Who told you that you cannot achieve your dreams? Who told you that your past is consulted to determine your future? Who told you that you cannot become all you desire to become? Who told you that your dreams are too big and too unrealistic? Tell them you are unstoppable!

One of the things I learnt pretty fast in my life is that when you have an appetite for something, it’s indicative that the meal exists in your future. God gives us no appetite for meals he doesn’t intend for us to eat. Everything that man was going to need was made before him. God waited to make man last so that he doesn’t crave for what doesn’t exist, and the moment man craved for a companion, God put man to sleep gave him a dream and made it real. Whatever it is that lurks in our mind as an intention, a desire or a dream – nurture it, you are unstoppable! What would you do if you knew you could not fail? Go ahead and do it, you are unstoppable!

Is your dream so big that sharing it frightens you? Or is it so common place that it’s not even daring to share? Does your dream intimidate your brothers like Joseph’s? Do you want to be the richest man in the world? Do you want to be the first female president? Do you want to be the most influential human alive? Do you want adopt 500 Children? Build world class schools? Empower 50 people, become Governor, become Senator? Whatever is you dream, though it be a mere glint, fan it up into a flame! You are unstoppable!

Tonight I sat in a conference that sat 7,000 people from different nationalities, I listened to the stories of men who were unknown scums of their societies who had risen to prominence and significance. I remembered that Jesus started off from a Manager, Joseph as a slave and David as a shepherd boy. I remembered the many greats that the world as witnessed, from the Martin Luther King Jr’s to the Ghandi’s to the Einstein’s of this world and it occurred to me that it was impossible to predict their future from their pasts. Quit judging how far you can go by where you are currently stuck, lift up your eyes, quit burying them in the mud. You have a place in the stars, keep your eyes on your dreams, you are unstoppable. Learn from the words of Mohamed Ali -”What your eyes can’t see, your hands can’t hit.”

Don’t allow the world to box you into stereotypes, refuse to conform. You don’t know it all, quit being arrogant. The definition you were given in your office is not the only one that exists. I remember for years, I thought since I worked in a particular company and they had told us with confidence and conviction that we were the best and were doing the best, I had somehow believed that the world revolved around my company. I discovered quickly after I left, that it didn’t. The world doesn’t revolve around what you know or the lens with which you view life. Life is bigger, way bigger than your current narrow mind. Empty your cup, so that it can be filled, let go of “I too know”, submit yourself to learning and understanding, dare to look with fresh eyes, dare to question the conventional. Why must you be bound? Why? Why must you spend 3 more years doing what you hate hoping that what you love will show up? Why must you limit yourself? Why?

Excellence is in the habit, not in sudden jolts to greater heights. Learn to be comfortable with having bold dreams and goals, but learn to make practical plans. If you plan takes you from 10 to 10,000,000 without taking you through the bus stops of one extra zero per junction, then your plan is a wonder plan! If your dream cannot be connected to your today, you need to wake up from that dream. You can be all you want to be, if you are willing to make it happen.

1. Have a Dream
2. Make a Plan
3. Surround yourself with the company of people whose dreams make yours look possible
4. Refuse to conform or be stopped
5. Never Never Never, give up.

  1. Deolu, you will never stop to amaze me with this provoking words of thought.Having dreams is what anybody can engage his/herself but the most important part is to have a defined, precised and well planned dream.Once we can define our dreams, have a precised period to achieve it,with a well define and documented plan, then we can say that we are UNSTOPPABLE.

Deolu, keep on with the great words of encouragements.God will continue to bless you as you bless us with a provoking words of encouragement.Have a wonderful WEEKEND.

It takes only those who knows where they are going to be unstoppable
It takes only those who refuse to copy copy to be unstoppable.

Having a dream is good, having your own dream from God is better
Having a plan is good, having your own plan from God is better

I see in this post, but i believe i’m unstoppable

‘I SEE’ is good, ‘I BELIEVE’ is better

  7. Hi Deolu, I am unstoppable, God gave us dream so we can be the best version of ourselves and our dreams are meant to be bigger than us to we can look back to him… becos even b4 we were conceived in our mothers womb, he had written everything we will be and do. We should dare to achieve our dreams. if the Dream is Big enough, The facts Dont Count..Ride on friends, we need to be Committed to achieving Our Dreams. funny enough many of us desired to be or do something greater while growing up, but today we are far from it…why If The Dream is Big enough, friends facts dont count

  8. Bro Dee, may God continually bless you! Thanks for denying yourself sleep to let this out.

  9. Greatness begins with a resolution to be outstanding. i have just read one from the man that changed my world. Joseph had dreams but he refused to be hindered by the oppositions from his brothers. I now understand what it means to be great…deny yourself the sleep and create the pictures. i love the way you painted the master piece of your dreams.
somebody said watch your thoughts, they become actions and I say watch your dreams they become realities. great work Baba DEE. you’ve steered a passion to succeed in me.

  10. TAKE ACTION!
“Are you bored with life ? Then throw yourself into some work you believe in with all your heart, live for it, die for it, and you will find happiness that you had thought could never be yours.”
    - Dale Carnegie -
dreams becomes realities when acted upon.

  11. What else is there to say. Deolu, may God continue to increase you all round. Everytime I’m about to slip i come back to this site to refresh. This is another meal not to be missed.

  15. Great inspiration from the master himself.Permit me to say,”We should all learn to take baby steps in our journey to the TOP”.I have learnt this am I am talking action even as I dream big. God bless.

  16. Don’t let your past dictate who you are, but let it be a part of who you will become. Never forget that the real hero in any happy ending is GOD. See you all in 8 years time.

  17. love to share a story i read with you!
This is the story of Robby. He was a young boy who
lived with his elderly mother. His mother wanted him to
learn how to play the piano because she longed to hear
her son play for her. She sent her son to a piano
teacher who took Robby in under her guidance. However,
there was one small problem because Robby was not
musically inclined and therefore was very slow in
learning. The teacher did not have much faith in the
boy because of his weakness. The mother was very
enthusiastic and every week she would send Robby to the
    teacher.

…One day Robby stopped attending the piano lessons. The
teacher thought that he had given up and in fact she
was quite pleased since she did not give much hope to
Robby. Not long after, the piano teacher was given the
task to organize a piano concert in town. She sent out
circulars to invite the students and public to attend
the event. Suddenly, she received a call from Robby who
offered to take part in the concert. The teacher told
Robby that he was not good enough and that he was no
longer a student since he had stopped coming for
lessons. Robby begged her to give him a chance and
promised that he would not let her down.

…The crowd asked Robby how he managed to play so
brilliantly. With a microphone in front of him, he
said, “I was not able to attend the weekly piano
lessons as there was no one to send me because my
mother was sick with cancer. She just passed away this
morning and I wanted her to hear me play. You see, this
is the first time she is able to hear me play because
when she was alive she was deaf and now I know she is
listening to me. I have to play my best for her!”

…This is indeed a touching story of love and excellence.
When you have a passion and a reason to do something,
you will surely excel. You may not be talented or
gifted but if you have a strong enough reason to do
something, you will be able to tap into your inner God
    given potential.
“Find the good. It’s all around you. Find it, showcase
it and you’ll start believing in it.”

  18. …Finally, she gave in and she put him to play last,
hoping that he will change his mind at the last minute.
When the big day came, the hall was packed and the
children gave their best performance. Finally, it was
Robby’s turn to play and as his name was announced, he
walked in. He was not in proper attire and his hair was
not properly groomed. The teacher was really nervous
since Robby’s performance could spoil the whole
evening’s brilliant performance. As Robby started
playing the crowd became silent and was amazed at the
skill of this little boy. In fact, he gave the best
performance of the evening. At the end of his
presentation the crowd and the piano teacher gave him a
    standing ovation.

  19. Yep! Unstoppable, nothing shall be able to limit anyone that have set his focus on his dreams and working towards achieving it. challenges may come, the most important thing is if we don’t look at the storms, we should keep our focus on the goal. We are unstoppable.

Am unstoppable, am breaking out of the box, going beyond every limitation, am taking a giant stride. am no longer at ease, no more complacence. I see a great vacuum and the need to take responsibility for my dream. I know I can achieve what I want to achieve.

Deolu, God bless you for going ahead. we are coming also.

  20. @Ikotun Thanks a bunch for that long story and article. I am so blessed. We have to prove to the world that we have reasons to live by justifying living. someone said “I may not be born with silver spoon in my mouth, but I will work hard to buy a silver spoon and I will put it in my mouth. Either which way, the silver spoon is in the mouth.
@All, I believe so strongly in this network of people that comment on this site, it’s been so great a privilege to be a part. Thanks.

  21. Great question. what would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?
personally i would do more than i planned and in fact i will bite more than i can chew.
it is a sort of assurance to do beyond your limitations. it takes a great deal of faith to act when it looks like it is impossible to succeed.

  22. I know that I am set on a part that I will follow in the name of Jesus.God has destined all of us for success, his thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace not of evil to give us an expected end.God bless you, Deolu. I AM UNSTOPPABLE

  23. i will forever follow my plans as planned…nothing can stop me even right now that i think i’m getting really old while my mates are ahead of me…i know i will make it, not even slowly. thank you so much Sir its always good to have words of confirmation cos thats what i call it…GOD BLESS YOU

  24. a hand full of us have dreams and aspirations but we start by limiting ourselves in our thought. I’ve learn t to conquer my fears in my imagination and then tell my self that I’M UNSTOPPABLE.it begins from the inside. think and act.

  25. In the last few days i have come to understand the reality of the fact that” nobody throws stones at fruitless tress” oppositions will attempt to stop you when when a man stays glued to his dreams, nothing stops him from being what he has set out to become. what am i saying in essence, stay glued to your dreams, talk it, eat it, live it and you will see that you are really UNSTOPPABLE!

  26. do not let anybody create a world for you because it will definately be too small to accommodate you. being unstopable means you are resolved not to allow people’s influence stop you from being what you have destined to become in life.

  27. one thing i have discovered to be the cause of people transferring the blames for their failures on other people is the absence of responsibility. nobody can contribute to your orth without your consent. we are responsible for our problems and delays.
