hmnn…strongly believe in d new nigeria and as embarsing as dis mst sound m just hearin bout a forum like dis 4 d first time(wia in heavens av i been?)Nigeria has been dubbed d ‘generator generation’ wia things that r suposed 2 b alternatives r d main thing!…pple employ vigilantes 4 security wen d police has failed,generator in lieu of electricity,boreholes wen there is a virtually non existent water corporation,…d list is on and i believe wit all my heart dat nigeria wuld rise again,wen it is darkest dawn is about 2 show up…d wen i dnt kno but i pray it wld b in my generation.d past generation has failed us,hope d next generation wnt say d same thin bout us…m wit u guys all d way,great jod deolu.God kip u!

2011 is so close and many who have been victims of poor leadership are nowhere to be found. many are sulking and crying telling stories of woes and sorrow instead of saying enough is enough to bad leadership! i do not know if anyother person isnt tired but i am tired of incessant strike by asuu thereby hlting the dreams and destinies of many youths, i am also tired of the continuos power failure and many more. please let us understand that "things do not change, we change inoder to change things". let everyone who still believe in our country to come out and start taking action.Nigeria will rise again.

today we celebrate 10 solid years of democracy in this country. i strongly believe that a country like ours having achieved this feat should be able to boast of certain landmark achievements. today we stand in the face of a depressed economy, we live in an environment where good morals are no longer encouraged, where the meaning of democracy has be re defined to suit the Nigerian environment and characters- “DEMON DEY CRAZE” and a lot more that pains me as i look at them.
what is the future of democracy in this country?, what are the benefits we hope to get?, where do we go from where?
the democracy we claim to bring liberty, has it not been the instrument which our politicians use to oppress us? is it not this same democracy that has created a more conducive environment for thuggery and other social vices?
NIGERIA MUST BE SAVED FROM ADULTERATED AND MISCONCEIVED DEMOCRACY, WE MUST STAND UP AGAINST EVERY FORM OF DEMOCRATIC MADNESS THAT IS GRADUALLY GAINING GROUNDS IN OUR SOCIETY.

OMOZELE, you made a cogent point, a country like ours is worth praying for. the issue of Ekiti comes not as a suprise but a repeat of the Jos incidence some years ago.
in my own opinion a sole administrator should be assigned to that state and let the elections be suspended till further notice, because we cannot afford to waste the resources that “we say are not available” on a group of people who do not appreciate the emergence of a NEW NIGERIA, where violence in all its forms and holiganismwould be a thing of the past.

bros, what is our problem? i dont want to say i have stopped believing. i am still a believer and a doer. but its just as if when i turn my back, a worse thing just happens. just look at the Ekiti state re-run. what do you have to say about it.i visisted fela's website and there was a page where he was outlining the goals that will be achieced by 2025 and it pained me so much because i just feel with what happening now if we can really achieve the vision. its no doubt that we are a blessed people and very religious too. that is why i wonder if God has turned his back against us.please forgive me for bearing my mind. i am deply hurt with whats happening.

Thank you so much for this master piece. This is a clear vission and a very big dream. I know dreams comes in sizes that we grow into them. I strongly belief the dream will work if all stakeholders, major players and youths put hands on deck .

All we need to get started is to have one vissionary thinker like Deolu Akinyemi, in all 37 states in Nigeria.

I want to encourage you to be focused on this project, because positive change does not come easily. But I assure you, this is history in the making. I don’t want to fold my hands and watch great things happen around me. I greatly desire to be part of history. I am highly interested in this great vission to make our only country work. Please, am enlisted as one of the major advocates of this great vission.

Well, i am glad that as true Nigerians we are ready to take our destiny in our hands. A big question is how much are we ready to sacrifice to chart this course, people? Keep the fire burning and keep the shovels moving. The end has come to bigoted governance. The New Nigeria is evolving!!!
