I have seen something like this before, that is the power of agreement, when people from different angle begin to agree in prayer on the same thing without even knowing that someone else is into such prayer of agreement. At this time, I see that God is raising different people in the nation to pray toward the year of jubilee, that means God Himself is ready to work. Great thought! I share your vision, especially on the issue of freedom and re-possession, and when you said we are not living right with God, that was "hitting the nail on the head" because "only righteousness exalts a nation". I appreciate all the comments too, this is the first time I am reading something about Nigeria with no negative comment from anyone! It seems that we have finally got the key! – positive confession and faith in what can be (with the help of the Almighty God), not what have been (our ugly reality) in which everyone is equally quilty, either directly or indirectly (whether we admit it or not).

I was at a meeting on wednesday night and this was the msg Bishop F W Oke delivered. Fellow Nigerian, let’s wake up to our civil responsibilities and vote the right people in power. 30th September, 2009 mark the very last day of Nigerian 49th yr and Oct. 1, 2009 mark the first day of naija year of Jubilee, i.e our yr of total restoration, fruitfulness and celebration (Levitcus 25). Deolu, i will like to contribute my own widow’s mite twd d future movement, but not now,can i make my contribution after d deadline?

Sir i am a little bit suprised about this post.the reason is that maybe because i am expecting that you were going to write about nigeria as as failing Nation as many media houses have done but you didnt do that. i read the lead article of Tell magazine saying Nigeria was a failed state. the truth is that if we all are tired of what is happening in the country and we are deeply sure we want a change, it should start with the kinds of words that come right from our mouth. we should not continue to run down this country. i believe that a man's prosperity is tied to the prosperity of his nation and so we must learn to project our country well even if we cant see anything now. we all have complainerd for 49years and still no change why cant we change our approach? continuation( i'm limited by comment software) Every instance of deliverance of the children of Isreal is being propelled by words of Prophecy and continually prophesying, a very good example of this is the Story of Nehemiah. Zerubabel is the lead Prophet while Nehemiah and colleagues were the action takers in consistence with the prophecy. Ofcourse there will be Samballath and Tobiath but in the strenght of consistent prophesy, believe and actions they were all surely reduced to nothing. "Who are thou great Mountains before Our New Nigeria Dream, thou shall become a plain" I will like implore us all, in this season and year of Jubilee, our words and actions are extremely vital to prove our believe. The principle is to stop looking at the physical which could easily cast doubt and fear (enemiesof progress).

Good and right words Deolu, infact you have just touched the greatest instrument or principle I strongly believe we require in order to create the change we desire. PROPHECY which could simply mean saying the same words in agreement with Gods word is one sure way to create the change, then we should make our actions to agree with our words. As we have entered in our Year of Jubilee, our words should reflect our conviction, we should begin to speak and declare jubilee ( freedom from all bondage) then our actions and activities should be in agreement with that declaration. I believe the Future Movement is established to co-ordinate our actions and to ensure that we act in a strategic way.
