How the HR MBA Went

If you have noticed, I have not been so consistent to write over the weekends lately. The reason was because of the HR MBA 1(Methods Becoming Action) which had taken my last two weekends. It’s over now, and it feels like the beginning of something great. I don’t know how you feel when you know that you are doing something that has a connection with becoming critical history. I feel that way.

The objective of the program was to build HR professionals, we had facilitators from different organizations. HR Directors, HR Managers, top notch HR consultants and of course moi. The program was successful. The 19 participants learnt a lot, had fun and became HR MBA certified.

The second session will be holding in April (14, 15, 21, 22), our vision is to become the center of excellence for HR Professional development in Nigeria, and with the support of so many 21st Century compliant HR Directors and Managers lending us their support, it’s only a matter of time.

Watch out for HR MBA 2 – (Managing Business Accounts), HR MBA 3 (Maintaining Business Alignment) and HR MBA 1.5 (HR for Non HR – Supervisors and Line Managers).

If you are interested in attending the next HR MBA 1, you can begin to make your interest known from now. If you have spent a few years in HR and want to learn more, or you are considering a move into HR, this training is for you. All mails to this effect should go to t.akinyemi@generissolutions.com, all other information about costs and venue will be published later.

I was a participant at the training programme. Till now i wonder how so much value could be given out so cheap. Somethin tells me that the price will not always be this low because demand will push prices up to 120,000 Naira that i believe it should command. I just hope my friends will take advantage of the next HR-MBA happening soon.
