Wow! this is great! I really like your site and am happy read how it started. Like a wise man said “I like to be a part of a big thing that starts small than a small thing that starts big”. I really love to blog too but don’t know how to go about it. I write article for some bulletins and local magazines. I think I can improve on these. All the same thanks for this encouragement, am so grateful.

Hi Deolu.. thanks for a very encouraging post – I’ve just started a cartoon blog recently in South Africa and it’s been fun so far. I think I definitely underestimated the amount of work it takes to get a blog established and visible as there is so much cool stuff on the internet already!

Taking your advice from point 5 above (considering I am still a newbie!) it would be great to get your counsel on how to get a blog more visible.. any tips would be much appreciated!

Deolu, I must say, i love you so much. You have always inspired since the first day i first heard your name back when i was in OAU. How you got a most challenging job at a very young age and since then i have been following and studying you. I have been following your blog for the past 3yrs reading every lines you have ever written and getting inspired all the way. have also attended 80% seminar/meetings where you have given a speech. You are the elder brother i have never had even though i dont know you, i feel so close to you as my brothers even though i dont know you. I hardly browse the internet without visiting deoluakinyemi.com. it’s more like an addiction and I’m better for it.
I hope I resume back and keep my own blog rolling. Funny enough my theme got the attention of a guy in London within few days of starting. He’s also a blogger and accepted to provide guidance and feedbacks on a personal level. But I went aground within a short time. Chairman, well done. we no no say e no easy until I started early this year and lost internet connection in my house but that’s no the problem cos i still go outside to browse. It a question of passion (something deep on the inside fuelling the outside). Sure, I got no excuse now cos your experience is enough lesson for me. Thanks

Oga Deolu, thanks for this post. I have seen it but haven’t been able to read it due to Lab commitments. Thats to tell you how it is with writing as well. I salute you. Since u ve brought it up, pls i think i will need ur advice. I have this blog also on blogspot that i have written very few post like ur earlier days, i ve abandoned it cos i feel people never get to read what is there. I am encouraged though in this article. But, please if u can read some of the post and offer some advice on what u think. Moreso how can i get the domain u re talking about. I believe i also love writing and i want to be doing it very well.

Hey Deolu, is it 3 years already, how time flies, unlike the person that talked to you without knowing it was you!hilarious! i know you but through my husband who knows i am always excited to meet unusual people!lol, he talked about you and said you would even help me get a job as i needed a change at that time, few weeks, after being introduced to you, he came back and said you had resigned!….the rest as they say is History!This article is so inspiring and is speaking directly to me!i love writing!…imagine me with 3 children and a wonderful/demanding husband, finding time to get lost in the computer..reading and answering mails etc, l have been telling myself that i will start soon and till now…but with this, i think this is the voice of a Prophet,who is living my life…writing,speaking and motivational part of my life speaking!lol
