Some days back, I got a wave of inspiration that this year will be my year of manifestation. What this means is that things that I believed were mine that were not apparent will become apparent this year. My hands will reach into the invisible and bring out into visible reality, things that before now, were dreams. I and all that read here this year, will manifest! We will be productive, multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it, and it will be apparent! Every thought that we have sustained in our minds, every dream that we have nurtured, every hope that we have kept alive, will manifest this year.
The exciting part is, it’s happening for me already and I welcome you to join and support me in making this dream a reality. Today, January 1, a dream that I have been incubating together with some of my colleagues in Generis, has been birthed. The maiden edition of a subscription based magazine with the name RECHARGE was finished at the press yesterday and will reach me in the early hours of today! (more…)

Have you come across the word serendipity before? I tried searching for it on dictionary.com today, and discovered that they did not have the word? (Later discovered I was looking for serependity rather than serendipity :)) I kept searching other sources and I was able to get a definition at wikipedia. This defines seredipity as follows
Serendipity: to make discoveries, by accident and sagacity, of things not in quest of.
I knew the word serendipity as far back as when I was in secondary school, I read a book back then and it seemed the entire theme of the book was centered around that word. If I remember correctly, I think the title of the book even had serependity in it. It was a story of strange miraculous events happening within a hospital. The question on my mind this morning is, “Is serendipity real?” Is it possible to really make discoveries by accident and sagacity? By the way Sagacity means the quality of being discerning, sound in judgement, and farsighted. Do discoveries come the way of people not in search of them? I don’t agree do you? I am willing to be convinced. (more…)

Today, I had a lenghty discussion with a lady. We had talked a number of times. I had been on the recieving end of her thoughts, ideas and passions, even though we had never met. I saw her for the first time today, no!, not in the flesh, on yahoo :). Strange world, you can talk to someone, see the person, share ideas, laugh together, plan ahead, without haven met. Back in the days, if you sat and spoke about it, the world would fear that you were going mad. Today, it’s only natural.
As I paid close attention to the details of her life, quizing her on to get something motivating and inspiring for you to read (Watch out for her Interview), little did I know that the interview was more than just for you, but even me as well. (more…)

Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.- Jesus Christ (John 12: 24)
I have been ruminating over this thought now for some days, and the more I think of it, the more it strikes me. Your seed will remain a seed and no more until it is put to use. What is your seed? Your seed is anything you have on the inside of you that has the capacity to produce much more. Your seed is that idea you have, that potential you have, that small cash you have, that skill that you have, that opportunity, that is your seed. What particularly interests me is the fact that until it is put into the earth, until it is utilized within this realm, it remains alone, a seed and no more. So why is your seed lying around? (more…)

I met a friend in church yesterday, who told me he was seriously considering leaving his employment with one of the reigning brands to soujorn into full time self employment. I looked him in the eye and told him he should make sure that he was ready. He told me he was, and went on to talk about how he feels that he would put some investments in place, to secure his backside and progress into managing his consulting concern. I smiled, how ignorant we all are of what it takes to survive in another world. If you are currently employed and you want to unlock the padlock on the slippers of your life and risk the odds, I have some little advice for you. (more…)

The 180 degrees seminar in OOU went very well. 11 of us left from Lagos (9 of us as part of Generis Solutions) as part of the planning committee for this event. Pat Utomi also came in with his convoy during the seminar. The programme was anchored by Image consultant, Lolu Mogaji. Speakers were Pat Utomi, ‘Gbenga Sesan and my humble self. The none verbalized theme for the day was standing out of the crowd.
That crowded picuture garnished with the title “is this fair?” has been challenging my thoughts, inspiring me while being a source of concern in the past few days. While as a nation we mourn for air disasters, this teeming crowd of people queuing for the opportunity to sit test for a job opportunity beats the disaster of an aircrash. These are Nigeria’s current leaders straining for scarce resources while being surrounded by abundance. How can young children be fighting for a drop of water in a cup while the rain pours around them? I have asked myself how come majority of the people who have struggled hard to get a degree come out of the higher institutions blinded. Can it be that everybody is looking in the same direction? Must we all look endlessly for Jobs? And while we wait, must we stay idle and become TV addicts? (more…)

One and a half years ago, I had an interesting conversation with a friend, I was in the UK, recruiting Nigerians for a multinational company here in Nigeria, and we chatted online. She sent me some excerpts of the chat today. She sent it to me with the title Dreams, she said she was shocked that I was already writing the scripts. You too can make your dreams come true, you can become lucky. Set you goals, the winds will work to favour you when your sails are set. I was excited when I read what you are about to read after just 1.5yrs…how time flies. I have posted all of it, with her consent. (more…)

If you haven’t read about the first article on the laws of success, I suggest that you start from there. We started by laying a foundation about the existence of laws and how wether we believe in their existence or not, they control reality.
While I do not judge myself yet the authority on this feild, I have learnt some things from some people and advice that the books and thoughts of Anthony Robbins, Ken Blanchard, Napoleon Hill and so many others before me
are worth reading. I’ll be writing about 8 laws today. Before you delve into this, I’ll like to state clearly upfront that success is not the result of blind steering but concious effort. All successful people applied themselves to get to where they are, so if these laws look difficult, it’s because they were possibly meant to discourage timid souls from venturing. (more…)
