Clubfreedom, 6k4you and RT

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ May 14th, 2007 | Comments (197)

I have received too many mails in the last few days from people asking me about 6k4you, Revolving Travel and Clubfreedom. How it works, what the boards are like, how to cycle fast, how many people they need to have under them, and trust my people, how much they need to invest to cycle out in one day or week?! People have also asked questions about how to pay? How come you are charging 24k, can I pay for myself? How come my down line is on a higher level than myself? How come someone with 30 people is higher than someone with 150 people down the line? How does this work, and how can I make the most of my membership?

I have answered numerous phone calls, and have decided it’s better to make the vital information available online, so that we can have an authoritative information on how CF, 6k4you and Revolving Travel (RT) works. It’s also better to put a system in place to ensure that we can manage what is about to come. I want to assure all that have joined and are actively working today, that not long from now, people you approached that told you they were not interested, will beg to join through you. Be rest assured that by then, anybody joining through this team will pay a a premium to join. Before you ask about the authority with which I speak, let me give you some basic statistics. As of today, 7 weeks after I joined clubfreedom from 6k4you, I have cycled once, 3 of my down lines are on traveler positions(tops, 1 week from cycling), I am also back to traveler position, I have >8 down lines on standby (tops, 2weeks), I have another >15 on planner, many more on reservation and too many to count on standby. Haven entered from 6k4you, I have two of my re-entry legs in planner positions, and others still coming up. I have a guy who’s less than 3weeks in, and is on standby, while his upline’s upline is still on the feeder board. It’s not just about having a village under you, it’s recruiting, training, marketing, strategy, team building, people management and business development. It’s multi functional and multitasking. You need to learn how it works. (more…)

West African Idols - Counsel Wanted!

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ March 19th, 2007 | Comments (13)

The West African Idols has become the rallying point of many family and office discussion these days. It provides a mixture of entertainment and an opportunity for Nigerians to debate and criticize. These are some of the times when not having DSTV could be really painful, as it means you’ll be an observer in most of the jokes and comments resulting from West African idols- “This is not werking for me”, “aah aah?”

Watching the West African Idols auditioning has been fantastic comic relief though. Aside of the good sides of being impressed by exceptional voices in Nigeria, one thing you cannot miss are the horrible voices who ventured to go for the audition. Why will someone make a fool of himself/herself in full public view. Isn’t it better to make the mistakes in the presence of a few friends and never again? Some people had no business whatsoever going for this event, they were either wrongly advised, deceived by their friends or lacked counsel! Talking about Counselors, do you have any? Do you have people that advice you? Is there anybody you can count on to always tell you the truth? Or are you on your own? Are you on your way to auditioning for a competition you have no chance in? How to Think Creatively

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ February 1st, 2007 | Comments (12)

I’ve been inactive for a few days again, I am definitely going to find away around being very busy and writing at the same time. One of the key things that have kept me busy in the last few days is the topic above. The company I work for - Generis Solutions, trained the middle management staff one of the leading banks in Nigeria on - Maximizing Creative and Logical Thinking. It was a 2 days event, very intellectually stimulating and exciting for the participants, and very satisfying for the Generis Team.

In case you are wondering what kind of training this is, this is meant to give you a few of the insights into why this needs to be trained. The human brain does not think naturally, thinking is by conscious and deliberate effort. (more…)

Team Effectiveness Workshop!

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ January 21st, 2007 | Comments (8)

Hello all, sorry if you have noticed I wasn’t posting everyday like I normally would. For the last one week plus, this topic had been the most dominant topic in my mind. We had a training scheduled with one of the most prominent departments in one of Nigeria’s leading telecommunication companies, it had to be right. I have been so busy trying to ensure that our standards were right that I have not had time to update you on goings-on.

The event finally took place, we had the Team Effectiveness Workshop on Thursday and Friday at IITA, Ibadan. All the participants as well as the facilitators were lodged at the hotel, arguably one of the most decent, natural and serene in Nigeria (I haven’t been paid to sing their praises, so let me take it easy). The workshop commenced on Thursday afternoon, we continued till some minutes to ten and started again 8am the next morning till after 4pm. From the comments(both written and verbal) from the participants, we had delivered exceptional value. I personally felt very honoured, when one of the Nigerians I respected and had looked forward to seeing, shook my hands after the training and told me that the whole exercise had been a job well done. Wow! (more…)

How to become an HR Specialist

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ January 8th, 2007 | Comments (11)

Over the past one week, we have been looking frantically for a qualified HR specialist for a  budding company. Very regularly also, when I go out for speaking engagements, I find one or more of the participants asking me how they can become HR specialists. I usually give them a brief answer about volounteering to gain experience and also registering with CIPM for now, and that there is something we are working on, that would be available for them soon.  Well, the time is ripe now, and we now have developed a course to help all those HR wannabe’s to become HR specialists. It’s unfortunate that none of our Universities offers this course, but you don’t have to worry anymore, we have a course that can take you from rookie to very knowledgeable in 4 days. During this course, you will be interacting with top HR Professionals (Managers and Directors) from different industries who will be facilitating different modules. (more…)

How to make workable resolutions.

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ January 1st, 2007 | Comments (7)

It’s the beginning of the year, and it’s the time many people get known for their new year resolutions. No more drinking, smoking, womanizing and so on. People conciously wish to stop their vices, to leave a better life, to do things differently. Everybody desires to move forward in their careers, to enroll in more personal development opportunities, to reach more clients in their businesses, to increase and grow. Everybody desires a better year, and at this time, people begin the year by making new year resolutions.

The interesting anomally with these resolutions however is that they remain a hype until mid January when they all fall like a pack of cards and get forgotten. By February, most people return to their normal lifestyles, the resolutions are lost, and the motivation with which the year was started gone! In case you have wondered why, and how this can be stopped, keep reading. (more…)

Second Step to Abundance

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ November 22nd, 2006 | Comments (15)

Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.- Jesus Christ (John 12: 24)

I have been ruminating over this thought now for some days, and the more I think of it, the more it strikes me. Your seed will remain a seed and no more until it is put to use. What is your seed? Your seed is anything you have on the inside of you that has the capacity to produce much more. Your seed is that idea you have, that potential you have, that small cash you have, that skill that you have, that opportunity, that is your seed. What particularly interests me is the fact that until it is put into the earth, until it is utilized within this realm, it remains alone, a seed and no more. So why is your seed lying around? How are you Smart?

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ November 15th, 2006 | Comments (14)

For years we have asked the question, “How smart are you?” rather than ask, “How are you smart?”. We have created a standard, called it IQ test, and measured everybody by these standards in a bid to answer a wrong question. Current research has shown that it is indeed a wrong question to ask “how smart are you?”, there are many ways in which one can be smart, and everybody is smart in one way or the other. The real question ought to be, “How are you smart?”. When you answer this question correctly you get to see that everyone of us has a genius inside, that the school system by creating uniform standards have overlooked. “How are you smart?” (more…)

How to Network and get a Job

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ November 3rd, 2006 | Comments (16)

Statistics show that 7.5 out of 10 people get jobs and indeed business opportunities through networking. In sales it also a fact that referrals get 80% more success rates than cold calls. If these facts don’t mean much to you, let me try and break it down a bit more.

That job you are looking for? The chances you’ll get it by sending in a CV is 1 out of 4. The chances that you will get it by networking are 3 out of 4. If there are 10 slots and 1000 of you apply by sending CV’s only, what you are really all competing for are 2-3 slots. The remaining slots are more likely to be taken up by people who have mastered the art of networking. This same statistics holds true for business as well. That proposal you are dropping is not likely what will get you very far. Shocking? It’s for real. Tap in here. (more…)
