Our Best Days are Ahead

Think about it, we have moved very far from where we started as Holidays and Cash, 2yrs ago. 2yrs ago, there was only one product in the privilege pack, 2yrs ago, the company started off with a coalition of the willing, 2yrs ago, it would have seemed that none of us could have imagined what we have today, but some of us did! Every reality has two creations, the first creation is in the mind and the second creation is the actual creation. The things we struggle at in life, are the things we try to create the second time, without the first creation. If what you want to build is a small hut, rough sketches are good, but if it’s big, you need to plan. Don’t Quit!


Are you experiencing any of these symptoms?

•    A compulsion to prove oneself
•    Working harder
•    Neglecting one’s own needs
•    Displacement of conflicts (the person does not realize the root cause of the distress)
•    Revision of values (friends or hobbies are completely dismissed)
•    Denial of emerging problems (cynicism and aggression become apparent)
•    Withdrawal (reducing social contacts to a minimum, becoming walled off; alcohol or other substance abuse may occur)
•    Behavioral changes become obvious to others
•    Depersonalization (life becomes a series of mechanical functions)
•    Inner emptiness
•    Depression

If you are experiencing any of these as symptoms, then you are approaching burnout. You need to quickly retrace your steps. You are in this business because you want to own your life, and enjoy your life, don’t let anything stress you out. Don’t allow anything to wear you out emotionally. Change your game!

It amazes me how many people live their lives on easy street. Ask them what they are doing currently, and the tell you about their work and daily commute, Seems uneventful, boring and typical. You ask what challenge they are facing, and the toughest they can come up with is the challenge of not having sufficient funds or something interesting that money quite easily solves. Nothing real, nothing mind racking.

Read this and understand – the easy road does not lead to greatness!  If greatness is your desire, you must be willing to change your current direction. The path of least resistance is a crooked path, if you want to blaze trails and be a leader, you have to be comfortable with rough roads. If you want to be an overcomer, you have to overcome. How to Stay Sharp


I’ve been a bit out of circulation for the past 4 days. It’s been a hectic one for me, I’ve been co-facilitating and co-learning a great deal at the Holidays and Cash Leadership Academy 100 level. It’s a really mixed class with an age range of 24-60yrs of age. We are all from different walks of life with different experiences and backgrounds. The class content, energy and opportunities to learn are rich. It’s been a great 4 days and we have 6 more intensive days to go. The training has forced me to go beyond knowing to doing, to utilize what I had kept as knowledge, and in so doing I’m becoming better. It’s funny, but I don’t think I have put myself under the kind of pressure I’m putting myself through now, in a while, it’s so demanding yet so refreshing.

My mind casts back to those days gone, years past when I was under constant pressure. Pressure to teach another the content of a course, pressure to stand in front of a fellowship and share the Word. The pressure of accountability to live right because many other lives depended on yours. The pressure of praying from 12 midnight till 3am regularly without fail, the pressure of studying the scriptures and not just reading it. The pressure of always having a fresh word. I once in a while get asked, how do you stay so sharp and current, how do you stay so knowledgeable? The answer, is quite simple. Continue reading →

Failing Successfully!


“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career, I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty six times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over in my life. And that’s why I succeed!” – Michael Jordan

One of the sharpest contrasts of paradigms between the super successful and the near do wells or outright failures is their perspective about failing. The contrast is so alarming, yet many don’t know. In my little sojourn and study, I have discovered quite amazingly that the rich and the poor, the great and the average, the skilled and he amateur,  have different philosophies about failing. If your philosophy can change, then you have indeed begun your journey into the school of success. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. You are not more than your way of thinking. Read these words, and let them transform your thinking, changing the way you see failing and rejection has the capacity to transform your life in 3 months.

Failing is one of the best things that can happen to a human being! Rejection is be most powerful motivation tool on earth! Getting a “No!” from your prospects or friends is the best self development training in the world! Failing is golden! The act of falling short, or missing expectations, of not meeting up with the desired results or getting woeful results is precious. You need to motivate yourself to fail, get yourself the opportunity of being rejected, go into places you’ll hear no’s more often, for success is elusive to those who have no history of failing! Failure must never be a place that defines you, but you must be conversant with failing. Mind Your Language


Wheeeh, wheeeh…. weeeeh. These were probably the first words your lips ever uttered. It’s incomprehensible in most languages, it’s the first communication that typically leaves the lips of a baby. We were not born with the skill of any language, we learnt to talk! Where you and I are today in our use of language, is a function of what we have learnt, or allowed ourselves to learn. Like with most things however, less than 20% of humanity occupy a proficiency level higher than 80%. For most of us, the powerful tool of words is grossly underutilized. My objective in this peice is to arm you with a comprehensive talkkit to enable you achieve more with your mouth.

Before you delve into this specially prepared delicacy, let me further whet your appetite. If you get things right with your words, it can literally help to turn your life around. It’s your turn


We are in exciting times! We are the times when history is being made and documented. We are in one of the best times in the world to be alive. Time has never been so fast, technology never so advanced and the world never felt so small! It’s a great time to be born, and a great time to be alive!

I know that what you are reading might sound contrary to your present experience, I know that there is a lot going on right now that make it all look like there is nothing good in sight. With bank chiefs losing their jobs and their rights to walk as free men – you might wonder who is free. With so many of our applauded wealthy men neck deep in non-performing loans – you might wonder who is rich. With our elected political office holders telling us to go and form our own country, it all looks bleak and hopeless.  The headlines these days are sensational, the big ark Nigeria seems rocked by the storms. Change 2011

I would love to write about my birthda, but I’m sorry, I can’t. I must pour out my heart in another direction. My eyes have seen the evolving of the glory of the country called Nigeria. Nigeria will be great again! Out of the shambles of the current hopelessness, out of the fabrics of this current decaying state, out of the depths into which we have plunged, Nigeria shall arise again!

A new crop of leaders are arising in Nigeria, a blend of people who have participated in the old, yet remained untarnished and those who have hitherto considered themselves too principled to participate in valueless politics. A new breed without greed, a generation that will raise, build and repair the foundations of the New Nigeria. My eyes have seen the glory to come, the exciting days ahead, and the desirable paradise that will be crafted out of the once deplorable nation. While I see the beauty and the spendor of the glory however, my eyes are not disconnected from the sacrifices that need to be made. The challenges that lie ahead, and the hurdles that must be crossed. I have interacted with the future, shaken hands with them that are about to be, I have viewed the Resumes of great ones, and tomorrow excites me. Change is coming, change is here.
