How to Make God Your Enemy.

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ June 4th, 2008 | Comments (8)

I wrote down this topic 5hrs ago, and looking at it again just before writing, it seems a bit strange. Why will someone want to make God his enemy? Even if you don’t believe in God, or believe that he exists, I doubt if you’ll want him as an enemy. Would you? I wouldn’t want to too, but there are many of us who in many ways, set out to make God our enemy. Or literally set up ourselves to force God’s hands to move against us.

First of all, I’ll like to make it clear that I’m not interested in looking at this topic from a different philosophical angles. I don’t intend to waste time on the existence of God or His absence. Neither do I want to attribute the Universe to unidentified forces. I am certain and convinced, that there is a God in heaven, and he rules and reigns in the affairs of men. I believe that this God is a loving God, who made humanity in his image and cares about what he created us to accomplish. This God however is also a principled God, who does not act on whims and emotions, but based on clearly explainable principles. In the words of Albert Einstein - God doesn’t throw dice! He has ways, they are only above our ways.

There are quite a number of ways to make God your enemy, in fact, I doubt if they are exhaustive. I’m going to be share the ones that have been revealed to me, and hope that you will work to make God your friend, and not your enemy. (more…)

The Creative Process

For the last 4 weeks, I have been listening intently to the Secret, and searching for further understanding so I can build my life into a magnetic force strong enough to attract the things I desire towards me. I have been keen in understanding the creative process. How do we ensure that what we want becomes reality? How do we create from the invisible to the visible. I am not writing about creativity or creative thinking, I’m writing about the Creative Process. The process involved in manifesting intentions. Let’s say for example I want to own and drive a Range Rover Sport HSE as soon as possible, and I don’t want to spend any of the money I have today. Is there a process with which I can cause this to happen? My study says yes, and there is a sure fire way to make it happen. (more…)

The Secret - Law of Attraction

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ May 21st, 2008 | Comments (9)

Two weeks ago, before my trip to the UAE, my colleagues and I sat down and watched a one hour 30 minutes movie. The title of the movie was and is, the secret. Prior to that event, I had been listening to the audio consistently for another 2 weeks. If you are desirous of a better life and haven’t seen the movie or listened to the audio, I recommend that you do. I’m not making any commisions or bonuses in suggesting you buy, I just believe fundamentally, that my success is tied to helping others to become successful.

Until you listen and watch though, you can have the benefits of my perspectives and the things I learnt from the secret. I also firmly believe, that even after you have watched and listened, my perspectives will still give you a bite that will accelerate your focused move into your next level. We all see the world differently, we see the world, based on the colouration of the lenses that we wear. I believe that the superior lense with which to view the world is a lense coloured by God’s perspectives. I have also done a lot of research to apply the laW of attraction to my life, and this will be useful for you.

First of all, the law of attraction states that (more…)

But…

“______________ is a great (or any good adjective) person, but ___________” - Adeolu Akinyemi

Before you read further, I’ll advice you to fill in the gaps above as sincerely as you can with your name. It’s a self assessment, and trust me, you owe it to yourself to be downright straightforward with yourself. Don’t use a not so bad but, search deeply into your habits, your character defects, your vices or whatever you are sure is strong enough to be a significant but. You should have found quite a number now, don’t stop at just one…:)

Let me shock you a bit. These buts that you have discovered about your life are going to eventually destroy you, if you let it grow unhindered. That might sound harsh, but let me quickly intimate you with why I know without a shadow of doubt that that “but” will destroy the lives of anyone that has it, and doesn’t deal with it. I’ll try to intimate you with the origin of but, and what we need to do about the buts in our lives. (more…)

Discipline - Power to Control

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ October 4th, 2007 | Comments (16)

“You are what you have fed” - Adeolu Akinyemi

When we were all born, we all had a clean slate. A clean state in terms of experiences, knowledge, and cravings. We had no idea of the meals we’ll love, nor the people we’ll be friendly with, nor the books we’ll read. We had a clean slate, then we started feeding.

As human beings we are a body, a soul and a spirit, the center peice of the human being is the soul. The soul is the sit of the human will, and takes instructions from the spirit or the body. The spirit is infinite while the body is limited. The cravings of the spirit are longterm oriented, while the cravings of the flesh are short term focused. The demands of the body are louder, the requests of the spirit man is with a still and small voice. The demands of the body are usually at logger heads with the demands of the human spirit, and these two are regularly at war.

Our eventual identity is the result of what we have fed. If you feed your flesh, your results will be limited to the limits of the flesh - corruption and decay. If you feed your spirit you will reap the limits of the spirit, which is infinite and eternal. You (ideally your soul) loses power to whichever of these two potential lords it feeds. (more…)

Generis Goes Unilevel

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ September 28th, 2007 | Comments (9)

Our quest in Generis Universal Tactical Solutions (GUTS for Short, or Just Generis Solutions) is to partner with people for success. We are interested in the success of our clients, both individual and corporate.

One of the comments that really hit me from one of the sessions we just concluded with one of clients was this statement - “you need to make more noise about Generis, you people are so good, but not enough people know”. That was a good statement, on it’s own it’s a combination of positive and constructive feedback. It has got me thinking, how can we get our name out while at the same time achieving our mission of helping people succeed. What became obvious is that it would be a good thing to reward people for referring us to a client or individual that eventually use our services.

We’ll be doing a demo for this in October with our two major October Trainings. Anyone who refers any participant to any of these two trainings will get a 10% cut of the total training costs. We’ll see how this goes, and develop a system around it to ensure that people can make a living just referring people to our programs - our contribution to helping people succeed. (more…)

Extreme Makeover - Season1

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ June 16th, 2007 | Comments (28)

The response to the idea of extreme makeovers is really exciting for me. I didn’t expect so many people to be interested. With 5 people, we would have gone ahead, but with so many, it’s making it really exciting.

I don’t think we have anything else to wait for, I believe we should simply start, and perfect things as we go. I’ll suggest we start by collating stories of people around us that we know that can benefit from this. We’ll all put up different stories following a template that I will provide with the story of one that I will present now. We will allow stories to come in for 1 full week, after this time we will then vote for the stories, and pick the first 3. At this stage we’ll need as much help as we can get from people who can volunteer themselves, we’ll investigate the top 3 stories, and come up with an amount that can suffice. I also think it might be a good idea that rather than raise 100k every month, it might be a good idea to raise quite some amount at the outset, invest in a credible place that can give consistent monthly income, and use the returns from this to fund the extreme makeover and Angel Network. We can keep growing the initial capital as we grow and who knows, have a proper foundation in the making (this is dependent on how much of the interest is backed up, we can still start small). I was very impressed when shortly after I had written the previous post someone signed up a clubfreedom slot for the Angel Network. I’m really thrilled by these interests, and believe me, you will be proud we started this together. For the first story please read on. (more…)

Extreme Makeover - Mini Edition

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ June 10th, 2007 | Comments (105)

“To the world, you may be just one person; but to just one person you may be the world”

Don’t you think it will be a good idea if we can pull funds together and make a real difference in the lives of people who N50,000 to N100,000 will be a big miracle for? Don’t you think it will be a good idea to shock a not so privileged student, artisan, farmer e.t.c. with a life changing gift of a few thousands? It’s a God given idea, and some of my close friends have already volunteered to join me in fully funding the first few, before my online friends catch on.

“He who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his good deed.” -Prov 19:17

I remember back in the days in University, when for a stretch of many months, myself and a few friends gathered together at the dot of midnight. Wherever we were, we all headed for the same place by quarter to 12. We would spend 15-20mins, and that will be the end of our meeting. It wasn’t a cult :), it was a meeting birthed by understanding. We came together to create our futures with our words. We were 7 when we started, we had a golden rule not to invite anyone, but not to refuse anyone. By the time we had gone for 2months, we were over 200. Don’t ask me how, that is the topic for another day. What reminds me of this time, is one of the issues we loved to declare about -wealth -”I am rich!”, “I can’t be poor!”,”I can’t be small”, “God gives me power to get wealth”, e.t.c. We all desired to be rich, we all proclaimed it. I have since wondered why the distribution of wealth is not uniform. Why does less than 20% of the earth own more than 80% of it’s resources. I asked deep questions, I read many books, listened to many speakers and finally got an answer I was comfortable with. (more…)

He Saved Me!

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ May 2nd, 2007 | Comments (45)

Yesterday, I decided to go the office in spite of mixed feelings not to. I had told a few people I would be there, and I felt the need to go, just because of them, and because I didn’t have their numbers and could not call them back not to come. On getting to the office, one thing led to the other, until minutes after 8pm, when I finally decided that work never ends, and decided to go home.

I was going home alone, the first time in a really long time. The journey home was not a long one, so I decided to take things a bit easy, and not move so fast. I took a bend at coca cola bus stop into Agidingbi and had a straight road till I get to Big threats, I hadn’t gone far on this road, when I saw my hand moving into action before my brain could comprehend what was about to happen. From retrospect, what had happened was another car had swerved into my lane, and I was set up for a head to head. I turned to the left without thinking about it, heard a big bang, the lights shut out for about 30seconds, I couldn’t hear a thing, felt as if my ears were off. I looked around, looked back for signs of the other car. I touched my face and felt blood flowing freely to my shirt. I was hurt, but alive. (more…)

The Laws of Success 2

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ October 9th, 2006 | Comments (1)

If you haven’t read about the first article on the laws of success, I suggest that you start from there. We started by laying a foundation about the existence of laws and how wether we believe in their existence or not, they control reality.

While I do not judge myself yet the authority on this feild, I have learnt some things from some people and advice that the books and thoughts of Anthony Robbins, Ken Blanchard, Napoleon Hill and so many others before me :) are worth reading. I’ll be writing about 8 laws today. Before you delve into this, I’ll like to state clearly upfront that success is not the result of blind steering but concious effort. All successful people applied themselves to get to where they are, so if these laws look difficult, it’s because they were possibly meant to discourage timid souls from venturing. (more…)
