“Who do men say that I am?” - Jesus Christ
That question was asked over 2000 years ago, and the answer still sounds as confusing as it did back then. The disciples of Jesus had many answers to that question, and interestingly, so does the world today. Different world religions and even Christian sects view Jesus differently. Some see him as a prophet, some as a guru and some as the Son of God. I have always thought that the true test of identity is alignment in the opinions of all who watch, but that is wrong. It’s not the views of those that watch that counts, it’s the core theme or purpose for which that individual lives. Identity is not crafted from the outward activities, it’s developed for the inward values and underlying life themes.
Many on the quest of creating a unique identity, have converted themselves into zombies. You were not designed to be one thing to everybody. Your identity is not what they call you, they’ll call you many things, it is not the job you are doing, you’ll leave it one day, it’s not your clothes or your haircut, all these are subject to change. You true identity is the core and fundamental reason why you do everything else that you do, it’s your theme, your compass. (more…)

Welcome to the second half of the greatest match of your life- Year 2007. I don’t know how fulfilling this year has been for you, but if you are a regular on this channel, I’m sure it has been exciting. I don’t know how far ahead the first half moved you, or how many goals down you are, but I assure you, if what I see ahead for you is anything to go by, you will not only equalize, you will win! Half the Year is gone already, today, is the 3rd day in the second half, it’s 2am in the morning, I’ve been struggling to shut my eyes for almost an hour, but I’m so inspired tonight, that I can’t go to bed, without expressing the burning thoughts in my heart. There is nowhere I’m hurrying to tomorrow morning, I will write, that I might be refreshed.
One of the strongest themes that have reverberated consistently in my heart this year is the phrase, taking position. I don’t know how you see this year, but one thought that ever comes to mind whether I’m in deep meditation or trying to think ahead, is the caption - Taking Position. This year is a year, where people will take positions. It’s a year of transitions. Some we have experienced as a nation, but most we will experience as individuals. It’s not all that I expect to agree with me, but as many has have hearts who feel touched by this thought, I am sent. This year, you will take position! (more…)

A very good friend of mine - Emmanuel Utomi (GM - Success Power) is speaking in a program on the 10th of March this year. The title of the program is Individual Independence. The program is designed to be a practical workshop that helps participants answer the question of who they are, and why they are alive at a time like this. Looking at the poster before me now, I know I have to be there!
It is no joke that one of the fundamental problem humanity is faced with is the question of identity. People grapple with this, and after a little trial and error, the young chap submits him/herself to the voices around. After all, does it not take a village to train a child?
Nations fight for independence, shouldn’t people as well? I remember an interesting story I recently read. (more…)
