Pictures Say 1000 Words

It’s 3am in the city of Dubai, my flight leaves here today, and I need to be awake early as 6am to be able to wish the South Africans and the English a hearty good bye. I gave them the hugs already, but who says one hug is enough when you may not see until last week in March in SA or April in the UK :) . There is no use reserving the best time of your life for the time when you can’t do most things. Now is life, the older you grow the fewer your options.  Enjoy your youth and prepare for your future.

I have a lot on my mind tonight, and a short time to say it. So I’m going to say it all in pictures, since pictures are a thousand words. I’ll capture a few of the events of the past few weeks, and basically summarize my lessons. Being in Dubai has been fun and exciting. It’s been a lot of great news, great progress and meeting of wonderful people. Remember, people matter a lot, time with them are your greatest investments. Continue reading

Adventures of Deolu Akinyemi 1-1

If we indeed are a sum total of our experiences and the vital impressions they have left on us, then no individual is fully introduced until you have a glimpse at where they are coming from, and the experiences that have shaped them. It is interesting however, that we get to know people and learn from their experiences after they die in their biographies, of if they do it themselves in their later years.

Somehow the world makes us feel it’s self aggrandizement  to begin to write an autobiography at a young age, but it’s interesting however that when we read about the great, our attentions are not focused on how they died, or how they spent their old age, our eyes are riveted rather on their making, their early years. We look around for traces in them of similarities with us, as if somehow to convince ourselves that greatness has not completely eluded us. Greatness hasn’t eluded you, it’s never too late to start to do things right. When all is said and done, and your history is written, there will be no reference to the kind of car you drove, no reference to how many houses you have, no reference to how loaded your bank account was. Think about it, do you know what car Bill Gates drives? Do you know how many houses he has or where he has them? Remember, this man is still alive now, and 99% of us don’t even know those things. When your coffin is lowered and your grave sealed, what lives on after you, are the lives you have blessed, the people your coming made a difference to, what you gave, the sacrifices you made and the things you did, that made others say thank you. Becoming a Genius- Revealed!

You have what it takes to be a genius, and it might surprise you that it has been discovered scientifically that there is a way to be exceptional. What I am about to write may really sound absurd, but I urge that if you practice it, you will discover that you’ll begin to stand out in ways you have never imagined.

A study of the human brain has shown that most of the discoveries about the human brain in the last 10yrs have been much more than ever discovered. Scientists have also come to agree, that what is theoretically known about the brain is much less than 5% of what needs to be known. In a series of analysis however, some laws were hypothesised, and corroborated as theories. You can become a genius, you only need to know how. Continue reading

I Love You

When was the last time you heard those words and it caused your heart to skip a beat? When was the last time you uttered it with sincerity and humility? Well, I don’t know what page of life you are on, or where in your journey you have reached, but one thing that is clear to me, is that, that word love is the most powerful virtue that exists.

I’m far away from town, have been for some days now. I can’t write much, I’m being timed and I have loads of work to complete. I ran here when no one was looking :) . You know why? Because I love you, yes you, even you.

Everytime you come here, I know it. Every time you inform a friend I’m aware. I’m not into magic, it’s pure science. Writing here for me is a duty, a duty born out of love to see you grow. It’s what I live for. To be your partner in success is my success.

If it’s been long you heard these words, say them loud for yourself to hear. I love you! It is your persistence that keeps me on, your belief that makes me run, and your encourgements that keep me motivated. Thanks for all the numerous comments from those who come here daily. Thanks, that’s all I have for you today, but I am confident that before long, you’ll have gotten more than I could every have imagined offering.

I love you!

By the way, the experiement just started for me again…I mistakenly ate meat again on saturday. (How come it always happens when I’m out of my terrain? How come it always happens after I have spoken at a seminar? I think I know why, I loose myself so much in those meetings, that the only thing that matters is giving my best…now I don’t know if that is a good thing) So friends, this is day 2 again!

30 Days Trial – Day 2

Everything went well for day 2, still hanging on to the commitment. Had a go at actually saying No! yesterday, I had to pass on a food I really enjoy to stick to it. It’s feeling like a really small goal, this vegetarian diet thingie. I’m tempted to add more things to the plate. I’ll take it easy though, and bring more in as the time passes.

Change or upgrade will never happen accidentally, it will happen by concious endeavor and concious action. Weeds are the only things that grow without conciousness, every good fruit is a result of sowing.
