Sex 102

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ January 26th, 2008 | Comments (18)

The article you are about to read, are the words of Praise Fowowe, he has already been introduced on this site, and as a function of my belief in his vision as a token of my support for his work, I’m going to be featuring him once a week to regularly on this site.

Sex is a topic that cuts across every level, every race and every tribe. It’s a common ground for the rich and the poor, the sanguine and the phlegmatic, the employee and the entrepreneur. The things that all humans struggle with are the same things, just in different forms. When we come to ourselves, we always feel guilty about doing wrong, but we have grown to rationalize the current way of life, and find some comfort for ourselves in the things we engage in.

If the makers and movers of condom, are not confident to use it to sleep with an AIDS patient, then people must be sick to entrust their lives into their products. If indeed there is no safe sex outside the context of marriage, if indeed premarital sex is rehearsals for infidelity, if indeed sex is a covenant, if indeed it is true that what a man ejaculates into a woman has the capacity of replicating him, if indeed every time a man lies with a woman he hands over to her his strength, his identity and his dignity, then we must learn how to be in control of our sexuality. We long for a New Nigeria where it’s citizens grow to ripe old ages and not as statistics for sexual accidents.

Please join me as we plunge into the experience and thoughts of Praise O Fowowe. (more…)

Sex 101

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ January 16th, 2008 | Comments (25)

I decided to do something really interesting today, I invited a guest facilitator to come and facilitate a “let’s talk about sex, no holds barred session” for all of us in Generis Solutions. I had met Praise Fowowe only a few days ago, and had been so impressed with him and his work, I was eager to make everyone hear him.

The session went well, it was an opportunity to see and know ourselves better, and an opportunity to do a self introspection and level up with where we were as individuals and where we are going. If 9/10 men become unfaithful in their marriages, and 9/9 who engage end up their lives in funny and mysterious circumstances, the best we can do for our future is educate ourselves and be in control. After the 2hrs sex talk section, I decided to interview Praise Fowowe. Please Read on and Enjoy (more…)

The Next Big Thing -National Rebirth

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ November 12th, 2007 | Comments (21)

Patriotism

I have not had much sleep in the last 48hrs, I have been working hard with a few colleagues at arriving as close to perfection as possible on a project many of us are working on. My patriotism and desire for my nation and it’s unique people’s development is undeniable. I decided to venture into a book I wrote over a year ago that still remains unpublished. The title of the book is “10 things you should consider before choosing a career”. I don’t know if it happens to you, but I feel eerie when I read what I wrote long ago, I feel like it wasn’t me… and perhaps it really wasn’t.

One of my objectives for writing that book back then, was to help in Nation building and national rebirth. Today, my heart goes out to Nigeria and I think the thoughts in the book are still as powerful now, as they were when I wrote them. Read the entire clip from the book here. (more…)

But…

“______________ is a great (or any good adjective) person, but ___________” - Adeolu Akinyemi

Before you read further, I’ll advice you to fill in the gaps above as sincerely as you can with your name. It’s a self assessment, and trust me, you owe it to yourself to be downright straightforward with yourself. Don’t use a not so bad but, search deeply into your habits, your character defects, your vices or whatever you are sure is strong enough to be a significant but. You should have found quite a number now, don’t stop at just one…:)

Let me shock you a bit. These buts that you have discovered about your life are going to eventually destroy you, if you let it grow unhindered. That might sound harsh, but let me quickly intimate you with why I know without a shadow of doubt that that “but” will destroy the lives of anyone that has it, and doesn’t deal with it. I’ll try to intimate you with the origin of but, and what we need to do about the buts in our lives. (more…)

6k and CF Prepaid Cards Now Available

“The richest people in the world build networks. Everyone else is trained to look for work. Yes, well, the richest people in the world build networks. That’s why they’re called ‘Television Networks’ or gasoline service station networks. The poor and middle class and educated work for networks, I’d rather own the network.”- Robert Kiyosaki

My site is acting up today, so you’ll have to take this the way it looks. I usually like to edit it properly, indent quotations, make headings bold, e.t.c., but it’s not allowing me to do that today. I’m logging into my site like it’s not mine right now, I think the problem is with starcomms, so I’m having to hide my IP to see my site… It’s serious.

When I joined 6k4you, I was told by my upline and his upline, that the price it could be done in Nigeria is N24,000 and that to enter clubfreedom direct was N33,000. I joined 6 months after some people had joined, I didn’t invent the prices. After paying through someone for 2weeks, I asked, why do I need to give someone money to pay for me, how were they paying, I found out about egold, was a bit scared of it, but gradually overcame the fear enough to be a middle man for high volumes. Even though I have sold high volumes of egold, $1 has never passed through my account till date (still a bit scared). I have since then been wondering how to make it cheaper for Nigerians, since our cheapest option, Master Card has been abused (I actually have had the privilege of currently re-modeling one of the guys that broke over 30 boards with fake credit cards). I have been looking for cheaper and more secure ways since then. I try to bring prices down, make things better and earn a little for my efforts too. The surviving world is capitalist, we make it good, when we do it with our hearts and not our heads. 6kvouchers can now be gotten at as low as N9,250 to pay for one downline and clubfreedom vouchers for as low as N28,000. Maybe someday, the prices will still be cheaper still, I can promise that I will try. (more…)

Taking Position

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ July 5th, 2007 | Comments (17)

Welcome to the second half of the greatest match of your life- Year 2007. I don’t know how fulfilling this year has been for you, but if you are a regular on this channel, I’m sure it has been exciting. I don’t know how far ahead the first half moved you, or how many goals down you are, but I assure you, if what I see ahead for you is anything to go by, you will not only equalize, you will win! Half the Year is gone already, today, is the 3rd day in the second half, it’s 2am in the morning, I’ve been struggling to shut my eyes for almost an hour, but I’m so inspired tonight, that I can’t go to bed, without expressing the burning thoughts in my heart. There is nowhere I’m hurrying to tomorrow morning, I will write, that I might be refreshed.

One of the strongest themes that have reverberated consistently in my heart this year is the phrase, taking position. I don’t know how you see this year, but one thought that ever comes to mind whether I’m in deep meditation or trying to think ahead, is the caption - Taking Position. This year is a year, where people will take positions. It’s a year of transitions. Some we have experienced as a nation, but most we will experience as individuals. It’s not all that I expect to agree with me, but as many has have hearts who feel touched by this thought, I am sent. This year, you will take position! (more…)

Extreme Makeover - Mini Edition

“To the world, you may be just one person; but to just one person you may be the world”

Don’t you think it will be a good idea if we can pull funds together and make a real difference in the lives of people who N50,000 to N100,000 will be a big miracle for? Don’t you think it will be a good idea to shock a not so privileged student, artisan, farmer e.t.c. with a life changing gift of a few thousands? It’s a God given idea, and some of my close friends have already volunteered to join me in fully funding the first few, before my online friends catch on.

“He who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his good deed.” -Prov 19:17

I remember back in the days in University, when for a stretch of many months, myself and a few friends gathered together at the dot of midnight. Wherever we were, we all headed for the same place by quarter to 12. We would spend 15-20mins, and that will be the end of our meeting. It wasn’t a cult :), it was a meeting birthed by understanding. We came together to create our futures with our words. We were 7 when we started, we had a golden rule not to invite anyone, but not to refuse anyone. By the time we had gone for 2months, we were over 200. Don’t ask me how, that is the topic for another day. What reminds me of this time, is one of the issues we loved to declare about -wealth -”I am rich!”, “I can’t be poor!”,”I can’t be small”, “God gives me power to get wealth”, e.t.c. We all desired to be rich, we all proclaimed it. I have since wondered why the distribution of wealth is not uniform. Why does less than 20% of the earth own more than 80% of it’s resources. I asked deep questions, I read many books, listened to many speakers and finally got an answer I was comfortable with. (more…)

Who have you believed?

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ May 16th, 2007 | Comments (22)

Whether we accept it or not, we are currently being influenced by the things we have believed. The import of this statement might not mean much to you, until you examine it carefully. We are all a product of our conditioning and scripting. Life has written us a script, and for as long as we are not conscious of this, we are mere pawns in the grand chess game of life.

The story is told of elephants in captivity. Get a baby elephant tied to a tree in such a way that it can only roam for as far as the length of the rope. It will try hard in it’s early years to break away, but by and buy, it will grow to know it’s own limitations. After a while it will no longer try to move beyond the circle that the ropes length provides a radius for. Even after the rope is removed from it’s neck, it still stays within that circle. Why? It has been conditioned to believe that it has limits. And even when it becomes set free in the body, it still has to still be set free in the mind. There are three significant stages in human development, between the ages of 0-5 is the age of why? This is the time where you are inquisitive, and ask questions to simply to know. Why is mummy’s stomach big? Why? The next stage is between 5-18, this is the age of why not? At this age, you clearly understand why, but you are thinking why not? This is the age when you test the limits, daddy says don’t, you ask why not? This is the stage where we are formed, where we are conditioned and put in our various boxes :). The next age after this, is the age of most of us :) 18-death, it’s called the age of because. Now we know why, why not and can explain it away. We are set. If it doesn’t look like what we used to know, it’s wrong, bad, negative, evil or questionable. We can simply explain all things away… it’s because. The question I am about to ask today, is simply, “who have you believed?” (more…)

It’s available

Let us travel together on a trip of imagination. Let’s imagine way back when the world was created, let’s imagine the first human being ever created. For the sake of this imagination, let’s assume that man was made in the morning. What realities do you think will hit him/her as the day progresses?

I know we might all have different answers, but I’m certain we will agree on this one point, around noon, man will get hungry, and would crave for something to fill his stomach. He might start by experimenting with lovely looking fruits - Apples, berries, oranges e.t.c. Have you ever seen a craving that goes unsatisfied? Do you know anything that human beings craved that they have not created? Authoritative books about the story of creation and even archaeological evidence show that the eaten came before the eater and the dwelling before the dweller. Grass came before the goat, water before the fish and the skies before the birds. Do you have a craving for anything? Be happy, because that is proof that it certainly exists. (more…)

Testimony of a changed Life

Posted by Adeolu Akinyemi @ March 21st, 2007 | Comments (33)

Of late I have had a number of calls, online buzzes and people walking directly into my office to let me know how much they appreciate the work that we are doing. It’s always a source of encouragement for me, and my team, that what we are doing is being appreciated.

I’ve got calls from people saying they got jobs through our job site, people saying their lives have changed reading these articles, and people just calling in to say thank you. I’m grateful to all these people for not concealing their feelings, but letting us know and letting us receive motivation to continue. Most importantly though, I am grateful to God, his grace and mercy have been at the heart of my progress.

I met a young man lately, he tells me he has been going to sleep every night since he came into contact with this site, reading and reading. I was shocked when he told me that reading from here has changed his life completely and what was most shocking for him, was that he has never seen me in his life, and I had so much impact on him. I took time to interview him, to understand how he has transited from scamming to legitimate business in 2 weeks. I welcome you to read this interview of a changed man. (more…)
